Cold Comfort..

Went out for a short run this afternoon round by the Falls of Foyers. With the temperature hovering around -6C they were close to being totally frozen, just a narrow flow of water cascading down but looking absolutely wonderful. On into the woods and the snow lay thick all around - a few deer darted in amongst the trees - it was the perfect winter afternoon. But then.... I come round a corner at Lower Foyers and I am pounced upon by a large dog which proceeds to bite me on my leg! Fortunately the local health clinic was not far and I hobbled in gripping my leg! It's not too deep a bite but cold comfort for what started out as a very pleasant winter run...
