Interesting story in the Guardian the other day about the sale of a plot of land at nearby Foyers which was once owned by Aleister Crowley, the self-proclaimed'most wicked man in the world'. Boleskine House where he lived for 15 years between 1899-1915 is only a couple of miles from Evergreen, and is today a beautiful private house that overlooks Loch Ness. But, the myth and legend that surrounds Crowley to this day ensures that anything associated with him attracts attention and in this instance, commands a very good price!
