The Giant Red Squirrel of Lower Foyers...

First apologies to those that read our blog for not having posted for so long.. lots of excuses but I won't bore you with them! Anyway got to tell everyone this story. I have it on good authority that a very very large red squirrel is presently to be seen terrorising other wildlife in nearby Lower Foyers. The squirrel apparently has a tail like a fox's and two huge ears. It demolishes bird feeders and chases cats. Is this a new super breed of red squirrels? If so surely it must be welcomed if the red is to fight off the threat of the grey squirrels (although there are no greys at present in the Highlands) But how this squirrel grown to such a size no one knows, perhaps it drinks Iron Bru, Scotland's 'other' national drink!!
